About Us
Mighty Frames & Blankets began with Greg and Sharon Butler, a married couple enjoying retirement by doing what they love most traveling, creating, and making memories together. Wherever their adventures take them, Sharon is always on the lookout for unique yarns, colors, and textures that inspire her handmade blankets. Her love of knitting turns those finds into cozy, one-of-a-kind pieces made with care.
Greg brings his passion for woodworking to their travels in a different way. As they explore new places, he enjoys discovering photographs and artwork from local shops, supporting the talented photographers who capture the beauty and character of the communities they visit. He then pairs those special finds with quality handcrafted frames made to complement and showcase each piece.
Together, Greg and Sharon have combined their love of travel, craftsmanship, and supporting local artists to create Mighty Frames & Blankets where every frame and blanket has a story behind it and is made or chosen with a personal touch.
Photo Frames
Our handcrafted frames are made primarily from quality oak and can be purchased with or without a photo. Greg collects unique photographs from local photographers and shops during our travels, giving you the option to choose a framed piece with a story behind it or select just the frame for your own favorite photo or artwork. Custom sizes and wood options are also available!
Blankets
Our handmade blankets are available in a variety of colors and sizes, including custom options to make each one just right for you. Sharon loves collecting unique yarns from local shops during our travels and uses those special finds to create cozy, one-of-a-kind blankets. Each blanket is handmade with care and carries a little piece of our adventures with it!
